The collaborating physician will review records, provide medication oversight, and be available for consultation while supporting a caseload managed by the NP. The role suits a physician seeking flexible, limited monthly time commitment while ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• This position requires an active MD or DO license in SC or OH.
• Psychiatry specialization or strong experience in mental health is preferred.
• Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medication management and prescribing practices.

Responsabilités

• Provide clinical collaboration and oversight for one NP delivering mental health services.
• Remain available for on-call consultation and guidance as needed.
• Review patient charts to ensure appropriate clinical care and compliance.
• Sign off on medication orders and prescribing documentation per state laws.
• Offer guidance on medication management, treatment planning, and complex cases.
