Job summary

Legion Health is seeking clinically excellent, patient-centered psychiatrists to supervise PMHNPs via secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor role combines flexible scheduling with meaningful clinical responsibility and professional support from a modern clinical organization.

The role includes clinical guidance, chart review, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where permitted.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience delivering care remotely using EHR systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMHNPs to treat low- and medium-acuity psychiatric patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide chart reviews and timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances where permitted.
• Be available during agreed hours and respond to PMHNP shifts as required by state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care nationwide.
