Job summary

Regard Healthcare seeks a licensed Collaborating Physician or Psychiatrist for remote clinical oversight of an NP delivering mental health services. The role includes reviewing records, providing medication oversight, and being on-call for consultations.

Approximately 10 hours per month, supervising a caseload of about 50 patients weekly, with monthly compensation of $540–$1,000. Remote work accommodates SC and OH licensure; state regulations govern supervision requirements.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in South Carolina or Ohio.
• Psychiatry specialization or mental/behavioral health experience.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners.
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric medication management and prescribing practices.
• Familiarity with NP collaboration and supervision requirements in state.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical collaboration and oversight for one NP delivering mental health services.
• Remain available on-call for clinical consultation and guidance as needed.
• Review patient medical records to ensure appropriate care and compliance.
• Review and sign off on medication orders or prescribing documentation as required by state laws and agreements.
• Provide guidance on medication management and treatment planning for complex cases.
• Maintain documentation of physician collaboration and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with South Carolina and Ohio board regulations and collaborative practice requirements.
