Equip Health is a fully virtual, evidence-based eating disorder treatment program in the United States seeking a board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. The role supports ages 6–99 in a 100% telehealth platform with a focus on collaborative practice with APPs and a multidisciplinary team.

The position offers a remote, full-time schedule with flexible hours and priority for afternoon/evening time zones.

Formación

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states; willingness to multi-state licensure.
• 3+ years of clinical practice supervising APPs (NPs/PAs).
• Experience in eating disorder medical management and monitoring high-risk meds.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders.
• Perform routine chart audits and provide clinical/performance coaching.
• Maintain availability for clinical consults and case escalations.
• Execute collaborative practice agreements for APPs across psychiatric and general medical specialties.
• Monitor vital signs, labs, and stability; coordinate with nurses and medical assistants.
• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to provide medical guidelines and treatment.
• Communicate via EMR messaging to support patients and teams.
• Coordinate with external providers for seamless care and handoffs.
• Document timely in the EMR per policy; participate in meetings and supervision.
• Engage in continuing education and department initiatives.
