Job summary

Equip is seeking a board-certified MD/DO for a Direct Patient Care + Clinical Leadership role in a 100% virtual telehealth environment. You will care for patients aged 6-99 with eating disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a remote, full-time schedule with EST hours.

Responsibilities include medical assessments, treatment planning, supervision of APPs, and pursuing licensure across all states with licensing costs covered by Equip.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in family medicine or dual board in internal medicine and pediatrics.
• Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states; willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
• Experience in telehealth or virtual care delivery strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical practice; supervisory or collaborative experience with APPs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring conditions due to eating disorders and support families in recovery.
• Monitor vital signs and labs; coordinate with assistants and outside providers for records, labs, and medications.
• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team with therapists, dietitians, and mentors to guide medical care.
• Communicate via electronic medical records to support patients and the treatment team.
• Maintain timely documentation within Equip's EMR according to policies.
• Participate in team supervision, continuing education, and department meetings.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff and APPs alongside physician colleagues.
• Pursue licensure in all 50 states; Equip covers licensing costs.
