Equip Health seeks a board-certified or board-eligible MD/DO in General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for a 100% virtual, remote, full-time role treating patients aged 6–99 with eating disorders. You will work with therapists, dietitians, and APPs in a multidisciplinary team to monitor medical stability and provide evidence-based care.

Direct patient care up to 50% and administrative duties about 50% within an EST-friendly schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in one or more states; willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
• 3+ years of clinical practice supervising Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs).
• Experience with eating disorder medical management and monitoring high-risk psychotropic meds.
• Strong communication and collaboration across diverse teams; adaptable to a fast-paced startup.

Responsabilités

• Deliver psychiatric assessments, medication management, and evidence-based plans for patients 6–99 with eating disorders.
• Perform chart audits and provide clinical/performance coaching per compliance metrics.
• Remain available for clinical consults and curbside case escalations.
• Execute collaborative practice agreements for APPs across psychiatric and general medicine.
• Monitor vital signs and labs; coordinate with nurses and outside providers for care.
• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to provide medical guidelines and treatment.
• Communicate via EMR with patients, families, and the treatment team; ensure timely documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing education.
