Job summary

Confidential Jobs seeks a Supervising Litigation Attorney for a fully remote role with the requirement of residing and being licensed in California. You will oversee a large civil docket, direct strategic case decisions, and supervise a multi-attorney team to ensure high-quality discovery, motion practice, and client communications.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, an active California license, and 5+ years in civil litigation, including high-volume defense

Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
Active California law license.
5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably high-volume defense.

Responsibilities

Oversee a high-volume civil litigation caseload and manage deadlines, filings, and court dates.
Supervise and review the team's legal work product, including discovery motions and dispositive matters.
Arrange and direct depositions and hearings, and attend as needed.
Direct case strategy across the caseload, adapting to posture and client goals.
Serve as senior point of contact for complex matters requiring judgment.
Communicate professionally with opposing counsel on case matters and disputes.
Lead and mentor a multi-role legal team, monitoring workload and morale.
