Job summary

Telex LLC is seeking a Protection & Control Technician II for remote work to advance testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of substation protection and control systems. The role requires hands-on field experience and the ability to support complex logic tests with minimal supervision.

You will perform end-to-end relay testing, assist with SCADA and communication equipment, and help refine standard procedures. Overnight travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in EPC or EE, or military power systems training.
• Field experience in relay testing, troubleshooting, and substation commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up, and collect data on HV systems.
• Perform functional testing of substation control circuits with reduced supervision.
• Conduct isolation, setpoint, advanced logic, and scheme testing.
