WSP is seeking an Early Career Electrical Engineer for our Lakewood, CO office with a potential remote option. You’ll participate in due diligence, investigation, remediation, and design for utility-scale projects, supporting the Small Utility Denver Team.

The role involves basic assistance with research, design development, and construction documentation to meet safety and industry standards. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and have 0–1 year of experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0 to 1 year of relevant post-education experience.
• Familiarity with electrical design and codes is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Assist with data collection and analysis for substation components and equipment specifications.
• Support design work including single line and three-line diagrams, layouts, grounding, and protection concepts.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for loads, sizing, and wiring.
• Prepare documentation and records using electronic systems and logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and project procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives and schedules.
