Job summary

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is hiring Substance Use Disorder Counselors to deliver evidence-based treatment within a collaborative treatment team. You will coordinate care with internal colleagues and external partners, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to addiction counseling.
• Certificate/degree program in addiction counseling or equivalent.
• Active SUD certification or MN license: LADC.
• Proficiency with technology to document in an EHR and manage emails/calendars.
• Must be 21+ years old; CPR certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide SUD treatment services per Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation standards.
• Represent the Foundation to audiences to ensure service knowledge.
• Communicate patient information per policy and CFRs and HIPAA requirements.
• Maintain a manageable caseload and participate in supervision.
