Job summary

SMRTR is seeking a Software Subscription Renewals, Collections & Accounting Specialist to join our US-remote team. You will own the end-to-end billing lifecycle for software subscriptions, renewals, and services, coordinating with Finance, Sales and Customer Success to keep invoices accurate and payments current.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in billing, collections, AR or renewals management.
• Working accounting knowledge for Finance collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with precise records across many accounts.
• Strong numerical and invoicing skills with professional communication.
• Authorized to work in the United States; remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software subscription lifecycle in billing/CRM.
• Track expiration dates and renewals to minimize churn.
• Prepare renewal quotes and monthly renewal invoices; follow up.
• Prepare monthly professional-services invoices across three companies.
• Monitor AR aging and conduct collections outreach.
• Coordinate currency, tax and contract details with Finance.
• Flag high-risk accounts and escalate per policy.
• Generate renewal, AR and revenue reports for leadership.
