Job summary

Serco Inc., the Americas division of Serco Group, plc, seeks a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team. You will lead subcontract negotiations, manage RFps for labor and materials subcontracts of medium to high complexity, and ensure compliance across programs.

The role supports pricing/proposal timelines, awards subcontracts, and collaborates with the program team to tailor prime contract requirements while minimizing risk.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Experience in U.S. government procurement, preferably with a peer prime contractor supporting large labor subcontracts.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR/DFAR) and contract law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a project team environment and meet scheduling timelines for pricing/proposal support and subcontract/purchase order awards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure compliance with negotiated price/terms/delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations concerning price, terms, and delivery schedule.
• Develop competitive and sole-source RFps for federal services and products of medium to high complexity.
• Award subcontracts of high complexity and document actions per compliance standards.
• Provide effective subcontractor management ensuring compliance with negotiated price, terms and delivery schedule.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable subcontracts, timely.
