Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Principal Specialist to support multiple programs within the APS unit. You will manage low-to-high complexity subcontracts (domestic) and act as the supply chain focal point across teams to drive procurement success.

Responsibilities include negotiating various subcontract types, selecting suppliers, defining procurement strategies with Program Office and Engineering, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR regulations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with reading drawing specifications.
• Experience with supplier management and leading formal negotiations.
• Experience working with SAP software.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorization.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer multiple subcontract types including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, and development/R&D efforts.
• Evaluate and select suppliers; develop business partner relationships.
• Collaborate with Program Office and Engineering to define procurement strategies and SOWs.
• Solicit proposals, perform source selection, and apply price/cost analysis.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and prepare documentation per FAR/DFAR rules.
