Aston Carter is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to manage subcontract agreements through the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSR standards. The role supports capture and proposal work, prepares solicitations, and coordinates with internal and external partners in a remote-friendly environment with on-site Fairfax training.

Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are required, along with experience in Costpoint or similar ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic subcontract management and lifecycle oversight.
• Knowledge of CPSR compliance requirements and multiple FAR parts.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, public law, and contract management principles.
• Understanding of government purchasing system requirements and related regulations.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP/financial systems.
• Strong communication and detailed documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, remote capable.

Responsibilities

• Manage basic subcontract agreements from award to completion.
• Support capture and proposal activities with subcontract strategy.
• Prepare solicitation documents including statements of work and terms.
• Incorporate evaluation criteria for RFPs to ensure proper subcontracting decisions.
• Ensure timely receipt and accuracy of subcontractor documents.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, cost, and technical goals.
• Apply knowledge of government regulations to subcontracting activities.
• Prepare price analyses, negotiation memos, and written reports.
• Maintain CPSR-compliant subcontract files and assist audits.
• Attend cross-functional meetings and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties related to business management and subcontract administration.
• Support remote and on-site training as needed.
