Job summary

AM Pierce & Associates is seeking a seasoned Subcontracts Manager to lead subcontracting for federal and DoD programs. You will manage the full lifecycle, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS while coordinating with finance, program management, and HR.

A DoD Secret clearance may be required. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a remote-work environment within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in subcontracts management and administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing subcontracts.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or federal government contracting environments.
• Clearance ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts supporting federal and DoD programs.
• Develop, negotiate, award, and administer subcontracts per FAR/DFARS and company policy.
• Lead NDAs, TAs, RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, and kickoff activities with subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor proposals, terms, pricing, SOWs and supporting docs.
• Lead negotiations and establish contractual terms, milestones, and payment terms.
• Monitor subcontractor performance with the internal technical lead on program.
• Administer subcontract modifications, claims, disputes, and closeouts.
• Maintain complete subcontract files and documentation following regs.
