Job summary

Serco is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support federal contracting efforts from our Herndon, Virginia headquarters or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. You will prepare proposals, negotiate subcontracts, and manage supplier performance to meet contract requirements.

Ideal candidates have experience in government contracting, knowledge of FAR/DFAR, and the ability to coordinate with program teams while ensuring compliance, timely awards, and closeouts across complex projects.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Requires a High School degree and 5 years experience.
• Experience in government contracting environment or FAR/DFAR familiarity.
• Education in Business Administration or related field; contract law training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Work in a project team to meet pricing/proposal timelines and subcontracts awards.
• Develop competitive and sole-source RFPs for federal products/services.
• Lead negotiations on price, terms and delivery with subcontractors.
• Award and document subcontracts, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Manage subcontractor performance and escalate issues promptly.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable ones, timely.
