Serco is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Human Resources team in a hybrid/remote role across the U.S. You will support pricing/proposal activities, negotiate subcontracts, and manage subcontract performance to ensure compliance with government contracting standards.
Responsibilities include leading negotiations, award actions, and closeout of subcontracts, with emphasis on FAR/DFAR compliance and timely execution.

Join our Human Resources team—either a hybrid work arrangement from at our Herndon, Virginia headquarters or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Whether you're local or remote, you'll play a key part in driving impact across the organization.
Conducts request for proposal preparations and competitions for supplies and services. Performs subcontract negotiations, and administration of subcontracts. Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment, and production costs. Monitors suppliers performance for conformance to original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the subcontractor is performing in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Prepares special reports and analyses as required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Experience must include working in a government contracting environment. Degree must be in Business Administration or related field. Additional training in contract law also required.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job‑related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long‑term incentive opportunities.
