Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Subcontract Specialist III for a 100% remote position in the United States.

You will develop subcontract specifications, evaluate proposals, perform price analysis, and negotiate terms under FAR/DFAR with internal teams to ensure compliant, on-time delivery within budget. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–6 years of government subcontracting experience, with strong communication and independent judgment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, JD, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
4-6 years of related experience managing subcontracts for complex US Government programs including experience in the Defense Industry.
Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/AMS and subcontract types (T&M, FFP, etc.).
Strong written and oral communication, independent judgment, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Administer subcontracts FFP, CR, T&M and other types.
Incorporate RFP requirements into subcontracts.
Obtain and evaluate proposals with price analysis.
Prepare CPSR-compliant files and maintain records.
Negotiate terms, prices and contract clauses with subcontractors.
Support risk identification and mitigation with IPTs and program teams.
Develop statements of work for subcontracts and extract requirements from prime contracts.
Ensure on-time delivery of compliant products/services within budget.
