FoundationCCC is seeking a Student Intern in Administration & Communications for the California Education Learning Lab. This 100% remote-in-California, part-time internship offers hands-on experience in communications, marketing, and educational equity.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least two years of college.
• Must be currently enrolled as a student with a minimum of six semester units or nine quarter units and maintain a GPA of 2.0+.
• Background or interest in communications, marketing, media, or journalism is a plus.
• Familiarity with educational equity and pedagogy is preferred.
• Ability to take projects from inception to completion and work independently or in a team.
• Excellent writing and copyediting skills with evidence of success.
• Experience creating public messaging, audience engagement, or digital marketing campaigns is preferred.
• Experience using Canva and/or InDesign is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of education-related promotional materials aligned with the Learning Lab brand.
• Review and edit education-focused audio/video media and transcripts.
• Draft and design external communications using Canva.
• Assist expansion of website functionality and perform routine maintenance with the Communications Specialist.
• Maintain grant project webpages and resources in the grantee portal and CARLE repository.
• Support the full spectrum of the RFP process including reviewing collateral, tracking applications, and FAQ using Excel/Google Sheets.
