Job summary

DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a qualified structural engineer to join our team. This role involves working remotely at an office near Austin, with variety across heavy civil and large commercial projects.

Responsibilities include design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings. The successful candidate will handle tasks from inception to completion, dedicating roughly 60% to engineering and calculations, 30% to drafting and 10% to field visits.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience at a professional engineering firm.
• E.I. or P.E.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 or later.
• Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar.
• Solidworks or similar FEA experience a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering and drafting for projects from inception to completion.
• Client relations, project inspections, and site meetings.
• Take a project from inception to completion with 60% engineering/calculations, 30% drafting, 10% field visits.
