Job summary

DH Glabe & Associates seeks a qualified structural engineer to join our versatile team. This role focuses on design, calculations, drafting, client coordination, and on-site inspections for heavy civil and large commercial projects.

You will manage projects from inception to completion, with travel to sites as needed, using AutoCAD and analysis tools. We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience with a professional engineering firm.
• E.I. or P.E. licensure preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD 2016+ experience; Risa 2D/3D or similar; SolidWorks/FEA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, and drafting for structural projects.
• Client relations and coordination throughout projects.
• Perform project inspections and coordinate site meetings.
• Manage tasks from inception to completion with design emphasis (60%), drafting (30%), field visits (10%).
