Job summary

DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a well-qualified structural engineer to join our team. This role is designed for someone who enjoys variety across heavy civil and large commercial projects and who can work from an office near the posting city.

Responsibilities include design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings, with a typical split of 60% engineering, 30% drafting, and 10% field work. We offer a competitive package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2+ years post-graduation experience at a professional engineering firm.
• E.I. or P.E. certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 or later.
• Experience with RIS A 2D/3D or similar.
• Solidworks or similar FEA experience is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, engineering, and drafting tasks for structural projects.
• Maintain client relations and participate in project inspections and site meetings.
• Manage projects from inception to completion with 60/30/10 work split.
• Travel to site visits as required.
