Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform structural steel design to ensure truss members and welds meet applicable specs and codes.
• Verify deck specifications based on contract documents.
• Design building components using computer software.
• Redesign members for greater economy and compare design weight with sales weight.
• Review contract documents and drafting for completeness and proper depiction of loading conditions.
• Generate shop fabrication documents and resolve questions from the fabrication facility.
