Job summary

ENFRA seeks a Structural Engineer PE I to perform technical activities on assigned projects, ensuring designs are completed on time and within budget with the highest quality. You will mentor junior designers and coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to meet client expectations.

Responsibilities include design drawings, code-compliant calculations, site visits, and preparing budgets and schedules. Travel 5-10% and strong emphasis on safety and quality are core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a Structural Emphasis
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 4 - 6 years of Structural Engineering Experience as a Licensed Professional Engineer
• 3+ years' experience with AutoDesk Revit BIM Software

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for all structural systems for building projects including gravity load and lateral loads, foundation plans, and framing plans that will withstand gravity, wind, and seismic forces and adhere to governing codes and public safety requirements.
• Determines size and orientation of all structural members and components via the appropriate calculations.
• Coordinates project designs with other disciplines including architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, civil, etc.
• Performs quality control review of structural drawings.
• Writes and edits structural system specifications for building projects.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and/or architects as needed; Prepares and distributes meeting notes.
