Job summary

DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a qualified structural engineer to join our team. This design-focused role involves 60% engineering & calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field visits, with opportunities on heavy civil and large commercial projects.

A Civil/Structural degree, E.I. or P.E., and proficiency in AutoCAD (2016+), Risa 2D/3D, and SolidWorks are required. We offer competitive pay and benefits and flexible work options for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm (this does not mean internships).
• E.I. or P.E
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 or later version
• Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar
• Solidworks or similar FEA experience a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineering, drafting, client relations, project inspections, and site meetings.
• Take a project from inception to completion.
• Work on 60% engineering & calculations, 30% drafting, 10% field/site visits.
