SouthState Bank is seeking a Business Consultant to drive execution across complex projects within our banking operations. You will own task delivery, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure milestones align with strategic goals.

The role requires strong experience in project management, business analysis, and change management, with a proven ability to build trusted partnerships and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of banking/financial services preferred.
• Experience in Project Management of Complex Projects, SDLC, Organization Change Management, Leadership and Relationship Management.
• Certifications in PgMP, PMP, CSM, ACP or ECBA/CCBA/CBAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns execution tasks for assigned position and leads the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate, monitor and provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop business knowledge to provide consulting for the line of business.
• Identify and execute strategies to engage stakeholders and deliver business value.
• Serve as primary contact for the project to business partners and senior managers.
• Create execution deliverables: task lists, requirements, gaps, testing matrices, and process flows.
• Define responsibilities and accountabilities for key project roles.
• Manage projects with varying complexity and ensure quantifiable benefits.
• Develop financial forecasts and reconcile resources and expenditures.
• Collaborate with business to realize value and plan benefits.
• Develop business cases with problem/opportunity, cost, and benefits.
