Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Business Operations Associate, General Practice, to join the remote-friendly team. You will analyze financial and operational performance, build models, and develop dashboards to inform senior leaders and guide growth across North America.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of analytical experience, a Bachelor's degree, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytical work experience, preferably in consulting or business operations.
• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong business and financial acumen with ability to understand drivers quickly.
• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal, across audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational performance, including P&L, budgets, and KPIs.
• Structure ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and translate findings into actions.
• Build financial and analytical models to evaluate opportunities and initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting for senior leadership.
• Support cross-functional initiatives from identification to execution and tracking.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and stakeholder interviews.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations communicating insights and decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Data & Analytics and other teams.
• Partner with leadership on strategic and operational priorities.
