Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager/Senior Corporate Strategy in a remote US role reporting to the Head of Strategy. The role focuses on end-to-end strategic work, financial modelling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive key growth initiatives.

You will develop and present business cases, perform market analyses, and support the Strategy Team with KPI tracking and stakeholder communications. A robust background in strategy and strong presentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy within a multinational or complex organization.
• Ability to independently execute complex analyses and deliver structured, insight-driven recommendations.
• Strong financial modelling and business case development skills in ambiguous problem spaces.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex strategic workstreams and mid-size projects end-to-end, structuring problems and synthesising findings.
• Utilise market research, competitive assessments, and market sizing to inform strategic choices.
• Build financial models and business cases that evaluate options, define assumptions, identify risks, and articulate KPIs.
• Produce executive-ready materials including presentations, memos, and briefing documents for internal stakeholders.
• Partner with product, commercial, finance, and corporate development to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and track progress of strategic initiatives within Group Strategy planning processes.
• Mentor colleagues by sharing analytical methods, frameworks, and communication best practices.
