Qualifications

• Approximately 2–5 years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related field.
• Ability to independently execute complex analyses and deliver structured, insight-driven recommendations across strategic projects.
• Strong financial modelling and business case development skills, with comfort working across ambiguous problem spaces.
• Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and visual formats; proficient in producing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, Excel models, and documents.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, maintaining rigour and reliability under time pressure.
• Collaborative team player with ability to work across functions and independently.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex strategic workstreams and mid-size projects end-to-end, structuring problems and synthesising findings.
• Utilise market research, competitive assessments, and market sizing exercises to inform strategic choices across Pearson's business units.
• Build financial models and business cases that evaluate strategic options, define assumptions, identify risks, and articulate KPIs.
• Produce high-quality executive-ready materials including presentations, memos, and briefing documents tailored to internal stakeholder needs.
• Partner with colleagues across product, commercial, finance, and corporate development to support cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and track progress of strategic initiatives, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of Group Strategy planning processes.
• Mentor colleagues by sharing analytical methods, frameworks, and communication best practices.
