Job summary

Partner Company in the United States is seeking a Strategic Sourcing/Purchasing Manager for a fully remote role. The position focuses on driving savings through competitive pricing, discounts, and supplier incentives for commercial kitchen equipment and supplies.

You will collaborate with sales, purchasing, and manufacturer reps to optimize pricing on active opportunities. You will identify special pricing opportunities, manage project-specific credits, and maintain strong supplier relationships

Qualifications

• At least 2 years buying, purchasing, or project pricing experience in commercial foodservice equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating manufacturer discounts and project pricing with measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of major kitchen equipment categories and manufacturer networks.
• Understanding of specification-credit eligibility, project registrations, and documentation.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills for outreach to manufacturers by phone and email.
• Ability to present specifications and timelines to secure favorable pricing.
• Familiarity with dealer costs, gross margins, and impact of discounts on profitability.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and related purchasing/ERP/CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Review sales opportunities to identify additional discounts, project pricing, and credits.
• Compile specs, quantities, timelines, and supporting documents for pricing requests.
• Contact manufacturers and reps to negotiate project-specific pricing and incentives.
• Manage registrations and credits per eligibility rules and deadlines.
• Escalate complex negotiations to the Deal Desk Manager as needed.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers and suppliers through professional communication.
• Track pricing requests, follow up, and meet quotation deadlines.
• Record negotiated discounts, credits, eligibility, and communications.
• Inform sales and purchasing teams of approvals, pricing conditions, and credits.
• Coordinate with purchasing and accounting to ensure proper application of discounts and credits.
• Monitor savings, open requests, and turnaround times to identify improvements.
• Stay informed on pricing programs and suggest sourcing enhancements.
