Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Sourcing Analyst/Buyer for a remote role in the United States. The position focuses on driving sourcing, supplier management, and cost-out initiatives across Americas-based suppliers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to shape procurement strategies and achieve savings targets.

Requirements include 5+ years in sourcing and proficiency with SAP and Tableau. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and an annual discretionary bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management and tendering.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing and procurement activities on assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver a competitive advantage within the Americas market.
• Manage supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and contractual terms and implement framework agreements with key suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders for components and actively support the full lifecycle of multiple orders.
• Improve key performance metrics for the Americas region such as on-time delivery, savings against budget, deflation, payment terms and cost-out during tendering.
