Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Sourcing Analyst/Buyer to drive procurement activities for the Americas, manage supplier quotations, and analyze spend to meet cost-out targets. The role collaborates with Sourcing and internal stakeholders including Senior Leadership, supports onboarding of new suppliers, and tracks KPIs to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management and tendering.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel formulas, v-lookup and pivot table knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing and procurement activities for assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver a competitive advantage within the Americas market.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms and implement framework agreements with key suppliers, using contract templates in collaboration with Corporate Counsel.
• Issue purchase orders for components and actively support the full lifecycle of multiple orders simultaneously.
• Improve key performance metrics for the Americas region such as on-time delivery, savings against budget, and cost-out during tendering.
