Job summary

Connection seeks a Principal Solution Sales Executive to drive strategic, complex technology solutions for key accounts. You will engage C/S-level executives, develop comprehensive solution strategies, and lead multi-faceted deals spanning server, storage, networking, cloud, virtualization, and services.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in solution sales or senior IT roles, deep datacenter knowledge, and strong leadership, presentation, and account-management skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in similar role, or IT Director level with solution sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT and OEM vendors.
• Experience with datacenter tech including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud and services.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to clients within target accounts, driving business outcomes.
• Develop short- and long-term solution strategies for clients.
• Support sales segments with complex technology solution sets (hardware, software, services).
• Maintain relationships with Account Managers, COE, vendors and customers.
• Lead deal registration, negotiations, and presentations for complex solutions.
• Deliver customer presentations and promote Connection capabilities and value.
• Set up meetings, uncover opportunities, and foster long-term relationships.
• Grow existing accounts and develop new business within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales and account management strategies to hit revenue/GP targets.
