Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a Strategic Planning and Implementation Manager for the North America Service Business Unit.

You will shape strategic planning activities and drive the implementation of approved initiatives across the region and customer segments, turning priorities into executable programs. Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to develop plans, establish governance, track progress, manage risks, and report to leadership forums.

Qualifications

• Requires work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10–15+ years of experience in strategic planning, program/portfolio management, consulting, sales, or corporate development.
• Experience managing multi-initiative portfolios in a global matrix environment.
• Ability to interact with senior executives and board-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the strategic planning and execution process for the North America Service Business Unit.
• Integrate inputs from regional, functional, and leadership teams into strategic priorities and roadmaps.
• Structure strategic plans into executable initiatives with ownership, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage the implementation framework for approved strategic initiatives from approval through execution.
• Establish governance including milestone tracking, risk/issue management, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate project tracking and reporting across leadership and business cycles.
• Develop executive dashboards and materials to support strategic discussions.
• Engage stakeholders across functions, regions, and cultures with clear ownership and communication.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
