Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA is seeking a Manager of Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth across inorganic opportunities and strategic initiatives. The role interacts with senior management and requires travel to the Lake Zurich, IL headquarters, with local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field is required.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 15% (including international travel).

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, and companies/assets for inorganic growth opportunities, focusing on nutrition, MedTech and biopharmaceuticals.
• Lead project management with functional leads and global teams through due diligence, business case development, and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents for management to align and prioritize inorganic targets.
• Manage internal corporate portfolio analysis and valuation modeling.
• Build valuations using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Oversee inorganic opportunities from identification to negotiation and execution.
• Present Fresenius Kabi as a preferred partner to external stakeholders.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future business directions.
