Strategic Finance Manager Our client, a proptech startup, is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager to support financial planning, growth strategy, and capital-markets initiatives.

Location

San Francisco, CA. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration 3 days per week.

Job Description

The firm operates multiple revenue streams within the platform and continues to expand its footprint through operational optimization and data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys complex financial modeling, and can partner closely with executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, maintaining forward-looking financial models and reporting frameworks
• Deliver analyses and insights for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making and board-level discussions
• Support capital markets initiatives, including relationship management, fundraising preparation, and due diligence activities
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and go-to-market teams to evaluate new initiatives, model unit economics, and guide resource allocation
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools to track business performance and key financial metrics
• Provide financial recommendations informed by a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and business model

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience, and training; licensure and certifications; office location and other geographic considerations; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting where required by local law. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
