Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect, Strategic Initiatives to own the architecture for its largest multi-year transformation programs, starting with cloud ERP. The role oversees end-to-end architecture, data flows, and integration patterns across ERP, warehouse, transportation, and finance systems.

The incumbent will maintain current-state architectures, define target-state roadmaps, and coordinate with enterprise platforms while guiding cross-workstream design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 15+ years in technology with leadership in architecture.
• 5+ years hands-on software or systems engineering.
• 8+ years in architecture or deep technical leadership roles.
• Lead architect on at least one full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or SCM program.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture for ERP core, boundary apps and data flows.
• Maintain current-state architecture across releases and waves.
• Define target and transition architectures for remaining waves.
• Produce roadmaps with cost, risk, and dependencies for steering.
• Own integration and data-conversion architecture for ERP program.
• Review designs for conformance to enterprise standards.
• Own non-functional architecture: performance, resilience, operability.
• Connect initiative to enterprise platforms and retire legacy systems.
• Chair steering/design authority forums and resolve conflicts.
• Mentor Solution & Domain Architects to avoid single dependency.
