• Experience managing outside communications vendors and contractors.
• Background in wildfire, natural resources, or public policy communications.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with policy and research staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AWR's communications strategy.
• Maintain AWR's communications channels with consistent voice and cadence.
• Coordinate earned media, press materials, and media outreach.
• Plan events, briefings, and lobby days for policymakers and partners.
• Prepare staff and coalition members for media interviews and public speaking.
