Job summary

HaloMD is seeking a legal professional to own vendor and technology agreements from intake to signature, shaping contracting processes and playbooks. You will be the trusted advisor to move deals across sourcing, operations, security, and finance while negotiating SaaS and technology agreements.

You will advise on privacy, data use, and HIPAA compliance, flag risk clearly, and propose practical paths forward. A JD with bar admission is required, with 3+ years in healthcare contracting preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience (law firm, in-house, or strong commercial mix) in vendor, procurement, or technology contracting.
• Experience with healthcare, HIPAA, or regulated data environments.
• Ability to build and refine processes, not just run them.
• Strong deal judgment and ability to explain legal tradeoffs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor and technology agreements from intake to signature.
• Build process, playbooks, fallback positions, and templates for scalable contracting.
• Be a trusted advisor on vendor and technology decisions for the business.
• Partner with sourcing, operations, security, and finance to move deals forward.
• Draft and negotiate SaaS, subscription, and technology agreements.
• Handle client amendments, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, and standard terms as volume requires.
• Advise on privacy, HIPAA, data use, and security, flag risk and propose practical paths forward.
