Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Liaison to support launch and growth of its Rare Neurology Franchise, focusing on ALS centers and healthcare providers across the United States.

The SAL will communicate complex clinical data, treatment pathways, and access programs, driving regional strategy and cross‑functional collaboration to optimize patient care and market access for FUS-ALS and future programs.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8–10+ years of Biotech/Pharma commercial field strategic roles.
• Experience with new product launches.
• Center of Excellence and IDN navigation, including KOL engagement.
• Rare and/or Ultra‑Rare Disease experience.
• Cross‑functional field team coordination; must reside in Region.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Acumen/Customer Engagement: Understand complex disease states and articulate outcomes to HCPs.
• Educate on screening pathways and diagnostic workflows; instill urgency to treat.
• Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and KOLs as credible resources.
• Explain access and patient support programs to ensure smooth prescribing.
• Participate in conferences and scientific meetings to educate on rare neurology.
