Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Liaison to support the launch and ongoing growth of its Rare Neurology Franchise, with a focus on ALS Centers of Excellence and key healthcare providers across the United States.

The SAL role emphasizes communicating complex clinical data, disease state awareness, patient access and support programs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive regional strategy and ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver's license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Preferred 8–10 years of experience in Biotech/Pharma commercial field strategic roles.
• Experience in new product launches.
• Rare disease experience and IDN navigation.
• Cross-functional field team coordination.
• Proven track record of success in regional strategic roles.

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex clinical data, protocols, screening and treatment pathways to ALS Centers of Excellence and healthcare providers.
• Educate on disease state awareness and diagnostic pathways to prioritize appropriate patients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders as credible resources.
• Articulate access and patient support programs to create a positive prescribing experience.
• Engage in conferences and scientific meetings to educate on rare neurology diseases and treatments.
