Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a Lead Engineer, Store Technology to design, build, and support cloud and on‑premises infrastructure across the store technology ecosystem.

You will drive automation, manage endpoints, and collaborate with Product, Security, and Operations to deliver scalable solutions for Windows, Linux, Azure, and related platforms.

This 85% remote role requires travel to Pittsburgh, PA and Camp Hill, PA, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years in infrastructure engineering, cloud/hybrid operations, endpoint management, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux, Azure, Azure Local, Hyper-V, virtualization, networking, and Active Directory.
• Proven automation experience with PowerShell, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, Ansible, ARM/Bicep templates.
• Experience managing enterprise endpoints and identity with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Strong security posture, system hardening, and secure deployment practices.
• Terraform experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure services.
• Support hybrid environments across Azure, Azure Local, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Linux, networking, and Active Directory.
• Ensure infrastructure meets performance, resiliency, security, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations to deliver improvements.
• Oversee endpoints and device management strategies using Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automation and IaC solutions.
• Design security controls, vulnerability remediation, and operational practices.
• Communicate technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
• Execute work aligned to program plans and milestones.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching and training.
