Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a Lead Engineer, Store Technology to design, build, and support unified cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. You will create automated deployment methods for platforms, apps, and devices, ensuring security, reliability, and enterprise alignment. Hybrid work with travel to PA hubs.

The role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations to strengthen observability and deployment consistency across Windows, Linux, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in infrastructure engineering, cloud/hybrid ops, endpoint management, or related roles.
• Hands-on with Windows Server, Linux, Azure, Hyper‑V, Active Directory.
• Proven automation/tools experience: PowerShell, Git, CI/CD, Ansible, ARM/Bicep, IaC practices.
• Experience managing enterprise endpoints and identity via Intune/Endpoint Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize Azure cloud and hybrid infrastructure services for store tech.
• Support hybrid environments: Azure Local, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, Linux, AD.
• Develop and run automation/ IaC using PowerShell, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, Terraform.
• Oversee endpoints and device management using Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Maintain security controls, posture, vulnerability remediation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering/Security/Operations to improve observability and reliability.
