Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies, a technology consulting and software development company, is seeking a Storage Engineer to design, deploy, and operate storage platforms across cloud, data center, and edge environments. You will work with NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage, and Ceph, implement CSI integrations for VMware and Kubernetes, and drive automation with Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs to optimize performance and cost.

This remote U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
8+ years of enterprise storage engineering experience.
Deep expertise in NetApp ONTAP or Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
Hands-on experience with Ceph at production scale.
Strong understanding of SAN, NAS, and object storage protocols.
Experience with storage integration for VMware and Kubernetes (CSI).
Strong scripting and automation skills using Ansible, Terraform, or REST APIs.
Strong understanding of storage performance, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Strong troubleshooting skills across storage, network, and host layers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate storage foundations for compute, virtualization, database, and Kubernetes workloads.
Manage block, file, and object storage across data center, edge, and cloud environments.
Focus on performance, data protection, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate storage requirements into scalable solutions.
