Job summary

Aesculap Inc is seeking a Specialist who will act as the healthcare sterile processing and surgical instrumentation expert, supporting clients with onsite assessments and formal recommendations.

The role requires evaluating instrument quality, performing consulting engagements, and communicating complex concepts to OR staff and leadership. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years healthcare industry experience.
• CRCST certification from HSPA or equivalent.
• LEAN Management or Six Sigma certification preferred.
• 4-6 years' experience in Peri-operative Services or Healthcare Sterile Processing preferred or related industry experience.
• Maintains knowledge of federal regulations (AAMI, AORN, JCAHO, CMS, OSHA).
• Above average computer skills in Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads consulting engagements and helps implement programs and contracts.
• On-site sterile processing and instrument expert collaborating with sales, operations and customers.
• Directs activities of peers and team members when needed.
• Inspect surgical instrumentation and related products to assess quality.
• Communicate with OR personnel and discuss instrument management best practices.
• Prepare and deliver clear, influential presentations to stakeholders.
