Job summary

Mercor seeks experienced scientists and engineers who are native or fluent in Spanish to train and evaluate AI agents on realistic professional tasks. You will work in realistic digital workspaces, reviewing documents, emails, and industry tools to create and review tasks that mirror your own professional activity.

Your role involves writing realistic tasks in Spanish, defining grading criteria, and reviewing AI-generated work for accuracy and adherence to local rules and terminology.

Qualifications

• Experience as a scientist or engineer in research or industry (master's or PhD a plus).
• Native or fluent in Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in Spain.
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis, technical documentation and data-heavy problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Work in realistic digital workspaces with documents, spreadsheets, email, chat and industry tools to create and review tasks.
• Write tasks in Spanish that colleagues or clients might send, grounded in local practice, regulations and terminology.
• Define what good looks like by writing grading criteria and checking AI agent outputs against standards.
• Review AI work by checking step-by-step results and correcting mistakes.
