Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Manager of Government Relations to lead state and local policy initiatives, oversee projects, and help develop internal policy processes. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams and engages with policymakers, trade associations, and customers to advance Ryder’s priorities.

The position reports to the Senior Director of Corporate Affairs, supports federal initiatives when needed, and requires strong writing, research, and relationship-building

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Economics, Public Policy/Public Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in government relations or related field.
• 3+ years navigating state/federal legislative, regulatory, and executive processes.
• 3+ years managing cross-functional projects or teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage internal government relations programs with project management support.
• Monitor and analyze federal, state, and local regulations and track advocacy outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content for policy initiatives and communications.
• Develop analyses, talking points, and materials to support government relations objectives.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders including governments, policymakers, and associations.
