Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager (Federal Authorizations) to lead the end-to-end federal authorization roadmap across FedRAMP and DoD programs. This remote US role (Hybrid from San Jose) reports to the Director of Technology Compliance in the Exposure Management and Security Operations team.

You’ll blend product‑management mindset with compliance execution, coordinating assessments, artifact submissions, and Continuous Monitoring in collaboration with Compliance Engineering

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI‑driven solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Security/Compliance Program Management driving complex cross‑functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience managing federal authorization or compliance programs (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD, NIST‑based assessments) and associated evidence workflows.
• Strong ability to operate as a “product‑like” owner with roadmap definition and cross‑functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the full federal authorization roadmap across impact levels and maintain authorization packages.
• Coordinate end-to-end assessments and manage artifact submission timelines and review cycles.
• Ensure timely delivery of Continuous Monitoring reporting and automate evidence collection workflows.
• Serve as the primary interface with authorizing officials and government stakeholders.
• Establish program operating mechanisms and governance across Product, Engineering, and GTM.
