Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, CE, or related field plus 7 years of software development experience.
• 7 years backend development with OO principles and Java in production.
• 7 years building with relational and non-relational databases and distributed systems.
• 7 years architecting high-scale, high-availability applications for metrics/analytics.
• 7 years developing data processing and platform solutions with Python, SQL, and cloud tools (Snowflake, DBT, Spark, Kinesis, Airflow, PostgreSQL).
• 7 years developing AWS-based microservices and data pipelines for analytics.
• 7 years implementing streaming architectures with Kafka or Pulsar.
• 5 years BI/data visualization workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for internal BI tooling.
• Improve code quality, testing, and system reliability of metric delivery platforms.
• Build scalable data pipelines and services with attention to performance and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Provide technical guidance and review for less experienced engineers.
