Block, the company behind Cash App, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Cash App Banking team. You will help steer the technical vision, drive cross-cutting architectural decisions, and mentor engineers to scale impact across multiple teams.

You will lead design discussions, contribute code, and ensure high-quality, scalable systems powering banking products and services. This role emphasizes AI-first thinking and collaboration across product and engineering groups.

Competenze

• 12+ years of software development or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience leading large scale features with delivery ownership.
• Ability to drive globally optimal solutions in a complex system with many moving parts.
• Strong track record of designing creative solutions to complex problems.
• Proven ability to grow other engineers.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
